Prevention Program Design For A Community

Effective prevention program should present long-term, repeated interventions to create effective family, school, and community programs. Some communities have already established and implemented a local prevention program, whereas others are still struggling to develop one. Consider your own community, and identify two addiction issues.

  • Consider how you could create a research-based principles addiction prevention program for your community.
  • Reflect on how you will reach all students, families, and community members.
