Secondly, encouragement to vocational programs such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation ensures the inmates particularly those with no profession have a source of livelihood at the end of their jail terms. Thirdly, motivation towards educational programs at the prisons ensures continuity of education to those inmates who were going on with their education at the time of prosecution.
