However, some myths and obstacles undermine the use and success of VR in training employees.
The use of VR in an employee training program is beneficial to the organization since it eliminates the use of trainers in the coaching process. Consequently, the use of VR enables the firm to overcome common obstacles such as inadequate time for managers, supervisors, or trainers to plan for and deliver their training material to the workers. Furthermore, VR is a pre-installed technology that has the data required to train the employees. Subsequently, the technology also eliminates the fear of hiring a trainer who has insufficient skills and knowledge. The other obstacles that organizations can overcome by using VR include trainer apathy and difficulty in maintaining training consistencies.
