When handling human resource-related information, the sources of the information and related data should not be exposed or publicized unjustifiably. All the confidentiality agreements relating to the sources should be protected. Given that human resource staff or practitioners access confidential and sensitive information, they are barred from disclosing it unjustifiably (Berman, 2010). In some organizations, this requirement is bolstered by another barring the staff or practitioners from partaking in same activities with others who do not work in their specific departments. In most organisations, the staff or practitioners are obligated not to disclose any information regarding the employment statuses and conditions of the organisations and their stakeholders.
