It is prevalent that data segmentation takes place in the Transport Layer of the TCP/IP model. the segmentation of the data at the outlined layer is based on the UDP or the TCP port numbers and the IP addresses of the data to be segmented. Incidentally, the connection-oriented protocol focuses on the successful delivery data delivery to the host that receives the data. Incidentally, the protocol obtains the data from the rlogin command and later subdivides the data into segments before attaching the obtained headers to each data segment.
