There have been several concerns about the quality of water provided in Michigan (Bennett, 1983).For instance, the tapped water in Flint became toxic, it all started when the state decided to reduce expenses through switching the water supply of Flint from Lake Huron to the Flint River, which is known by the locals for its dirt. It was noted that the Department of Environmental Quality was not treating the Flint River with an anti-corrosive agent, and it is a violation of the federal law.
